Everything a cash lender runs on
Organised by what you get. Each part works on its own and together with the rest.
Your group, companies and branches
Run one branch or a group of licensed companies from the same system.
- A group holds its companies, and each company runs its own branches, products and pricing.
- Staff get roles at group, company or branch level, so a teller sees their branch and head office sees the group.
- A borrower is held once for the group and shared between your companies only with their consent.
All four loan types
Payday, term, payroll deduction, and pawn and vehicle loans, each with its own rules.
- Product versions with fees, interest and limits per company, so a price change never rewrites an existing loan.
- Every loan has a schedule, and its balance is worked out from the ledger, never typed in.
- Pawn and vehicle loans record the collateral, its valuation and custody, from "pawn and drive" with a tracker to "pawn and park" in your yard.
- Rollovers, grace periods and the sale of unredeemed collateral follow the rules you set, with any surplus owed to the borrower worked out for you.
Branch cash, tills and the safe
Know where every pula is, and who is holding it.
- Each branch has a safe, a till per teller and petty cash.
- Cash moving between people posts only when the receiver accepts it, so cash in transit always has an owner.
- End-of-day counts record variances, and an adjustment needs approval.
- Counter payments get a numbered receipt per branch, with no gaps, on A4 or an 80 mm receipt printer, and an SMS proof of payment.
Approvals
The right people sign off, and the record shows who did.
- One approval engine for loans, payouts, cash transfers, expenses, count variances, write-offs and fee waivers.
- Policies per company and amount band set how many people, at which role, must approve; larger amounts chain more levels.
- Approving your own request, approving twice or approving above your limit is refused.
Collections and two-way messaging
Reach borrowers on SMS, WhatsApp and email, and see their replies in one place.
- Every message in or out lands in one conversation per borrower, whatever the channel.
- Each company sends from its own WhatsApp number, SMS sender name and email address.
- Opt-outs, consent and quiet hours are checked before anything is sent; a reply of STOP is honoured.
- Arrears ageing shows who to call first, with their contact details and last payment.
A borrower portal with SMS sign-in
Your borrowers see their own loans on their phone, in your brand.
- Each company's portal has its own web address, colours, logo and support contacts.
- Borrowers sign in with a one-time code by SMS. No password, no app store, and it installs on the home screen.
- Loans, schedules, statements and receipts, each limited to the signed-in borrower by the database itself.
- Built for mid-range phones on prepaid data.
Reports, Excel and PDF, and dashboards
The numbers your board, auditors and branch managers ask for, ready to download.
- Portfolio at risk, disbursements, collections, arrears ageing and branch cash position.
- Every report downloads as Excel, PDF or CSV, with your company's name and the filters used.
- Dashboards for branch managers, executives and loan officers.
- Statements and receipts for borrowers, in your brand.
Data import from your old system
Move customers and live loans across, and prove the numbers match.
- Import employers, customers, contacts, consents, live loans, collateral and documents, in that order.
- A dry run reports every problem in every row before anything is committed.
- The same person already in your group is matched, never duplicated.
- Opening balances reconcile to your old system's trial balance, and a batch can be safely run again.
Automated offers to past customers
Invite good customers back without anyone remembering to.
- Journeys for a repeat loan after settlement, a top-up near the end of a loan paid on time, and win-back after a quiet spell.
- Anyone in arrears, written off, without marketing consent or recently contacted is left out.
- Offers are sized from the customer's repayment record and capped by the product and their last affordability check.
- Taking up an offer starts a new application with fresh checks. A hold-out group shows what the offers really add.
Signing with PulaSignComing
Borrowers sign their loan agreement on their phone.
- The agreement and the cost-of-credit disclosure go to the borrower to sign electronically through PulaSign, AccTech's signing service.
- The signed document is filed against the loan.
Security: isolation, audit and masked access
Each company's data stays its own, and every sensitive action leaves a record.
- Row-level security in the database keeps groups and companies apart, even if a screen has a bug.
- Head office can be set to see borrowers masked, with every full record opened logged with a reason.
- Every report and document download is logged: who, what, when and with which filters.
Botswana settings, ready for more countries
Built for NBFIRA-regulated lenders in Botswana first.
- Country settings such as caps, retention and required wording live in a country pack, not in code.
- Marketing messages are checked for the caution wording and cost-of-credit rate Botswana's advertising rules ask for.
- A read-only regulator inspector role, with every view logged.
- Each company works in its own currency. Namibia is next.
